Government's commitment to support MIAC

On 28th August, 2023 the MLS and the AFSA SADC Division met with the Minister of Justice and the Solicitor General of the Republic of Malawi, Honourable Titus Mvalo and Honourable Allison M’bang’ombe respectively at the Ministry of Justice Boardroom. The Minister assured the MLS and the AFSA SADC Division that Malawi is committed to support the Centre. To demonstrate government’s commitment to the cause, the Minister of Justice and the Solicitor General positively acknowledged and agreed to the recommendation that the MLS and the AFSA SADC Division should develop an International Arbitration Bill modelled on the UNCITRAL model law.
